Valmonte Farm & Garden is a non-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to creating and growing the unique one of a kind community garden nestled in the Valmonte area of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Valmonte Farm & Garden, a not for profit, 501(C)3, under the meticulous stewardship of Nancy Lemargie,
has over 12 years transformd a piece of scrub grass land provided by PVPUSD into a thriving community
farm and garden. Valmonte Farm & Garden teachers job skills to the special needs young adults of
the Palos Verdes Penninsula Unified School District as well as provides a host of programs to all students and the
general public. In addition, the Farm & Garden is a unique outdoor classroom for the
teachers and students of VELA, PVPUSD, a field trip destination and provides “farm to table” herbs and vegetables
to local restaurants through its Seed to Plate program.
Come and pay us a visit during one of our many classes, community days or farmers markets.
All of the food grown on site is chemical and pesticide free to build healthy ecosystems and nutrient dense plants. So, come by and
pick up some ultra fresh “farm to table” vegetables, herbs, farm fresh eggs and even some of
Nancy’s famous homemade preserves!
And don’t forget to say hi to and feed the chickens!
